Maximum scalability with the SOLIX Multisystem

The Power Dock intelligently connects up to four Solarbank 3 Pro units – tailored to your needs. You start small and expand your system gradually. Each Solarbank 3 Pro offers a base capacity of 2,7 kWh, which can be increased to 16 kWh per unit with up to five expansion batteries. With the full configuration, four Solarbank 3 Pro units and all expansions provide an impressive total capacity of 64,5 kWh – enough to power a household completely independently for a week.

Backward compatibility with the Solarbank 2 series

Starting in September 2025, you can integrate up to four Solarbank 2 Pro or Plus units into the new system. The Solarbank 2 AC will follow in the fourth quarter of 2025. This means your existing investments remain intact. A software update allows older devices to be integrated into the new energy management system – without the need for expensive new purchases.

Target groups: Who is the system suitable for?

The Anker SOLIX Multisystem is aimed at a variety of user groups. Owners of a balcony power station with a Solarbank 2 or 3 can expand their plug-and-play solution into a powerful, registration-required system with high storage capacity. Homeowners without an existing PV system have the opportunity to flexibly enter solar power usage without having to commit to a pre-configured complete system. Owners of older models such as the E1600 or BP1600 can also combine new components, such as the Solarbank 3 Pro, with their existing devices or use the new 2,7 kWh replacement battery as an extension of their existing E1600.

Application scenarios: This is what everyday life looks like with the SOLIX Multisystem

The strengths of the SOLIX multi-system are clearly evident in everyday use. For example, a household can use two Solarbank 3 Pro units with a total storage capacity of 32,4 kWh and an 8 kWp PV system, thus covering approximately 87% of its annual electricity needs. Even periods of inclement weather lasting several days are easily bridged. Another application is the integrated charging solution for e-mobility: A user can combine four Solarbank 3 Pro units with a 12 kWp PV system, allowing them to not only supply their entire home with electricity but also charge their electric vehicle completely independently and emission-free.

Note: 800 W balcony power station

If you expand your system with the Power Dock and exceed the 800 W power limit, it will no longer be legally classified as a balcony power station. In this case, it is a fully-fledged solar system, which must be installed and registered in the market data register by a certified electrician. However, Anker offers a suitable installation service for this, making implementation straightforward and legally compliant.

Installation made easy – with SolarCan

Installation is further simplified by Anker with SolarCan. PV modules and storage can be installed by the customer themselves, while the electrical connection is handled by qualified personnel. Upon request, Anker also offers complete installation by certified partners, ensuring legal certainty and cost transparency. This service is currently available exclusively in Germany.

Conclusion: Flexibility, efficiency and future security

Overall, the Anker SOLIX Multisystem offers a modular and sustainable alternative to traditional complete PV systems. Whether you already have a balcony power plant or are new to the field, the system allows full control over power consumption, flexible expansion options, and the intelligent integration of existing components. The combination of storage, charging solution, and scalable system design creates a true home power plant that operates independently of rising electricity prices or grid fluctuations.

Anker SOLIX Power Dock Questions & Answers

Q&A about the Anker SOLIX Power Dock

What is the Anker SOLIX Power Dock and what is it used for?
