While conventional home storage systems are often expensive and pay for themselves slowly, balcony power plants with storage offer an innovative and quickly installed alternative. They pay for themselves much faster, but due to their power limitations, they can only save a portion of the electricity costs.

The Anker SOLIX Power Dock is a central control and connection unit for expanding balcony power systems. It allows the connection of up to four solar bank systems, significantly increasing both the AC output power and the total storage capacity.
Can a solar bank unit be combined with a power dock?
Up to three Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro devices can now be switched in parallel. Up to four Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro/Plus devices will be supported after the planned software update in September (using the appropriate accessories). The Solarbank 2 E1600 AC is expected to be compatible in the fourth quarter of 2025.
What is the total power available for parallel solar bank devices via Power Docks?
Currently, you can achieve a maximum output of 3W (2700x 3600W) with a maximum of three 3 E1200 Pro solar panels. In the future, mixed configurations of up to four units (2 E1600 Pro/Plus/AC solar panels and 3 E2700 Pro) will be possible, allowing a capacity of up to 4800W. Individual power outputs range from 3 E2700 Pro at 1200W to 2 E1600 Pro/Plus at 1000W, 2 E1600 AC solar panels, and 3 E2700.
Is it possible to have a standalone mount of the Anker Solix Power Dock?
Self-assembly is not recommended. Due to safety and regulatory requirements for the registration of mini-PV systems, installation must be carried out exclusively by a certified electronics company from an Anker partner network.
Does the Power Dock fit my existing electrical installation?
A checklist, which you will receive from SolarCan's installation service after placing your order, will determine whether your current power grid meets the Power Dock's requirements. It will also show you whether any adjustments are necessary.
Will the smart meter be included during installation? Are there any additional costs involved?
Yes – the Anker SOLIX Smart Meter is automatically installed as part of SolarCan's standard installation service. There is no additional charge.
Are all connected solar banks displayed in the app and connected to the smart meter?
Yes. You can centrally control all your solar panels and the Power Dock using the Anker SOLIX app. The devices are automatically recognized and displayed as a connected energy system – including connection to your smart meter.
Can I connect my electric car to the Power Dock myself?
Yes, the Power Dock offers two EV ports: one with up to 11 kW (three-phase) and one with 7,4 kW (single-phase). You can connect the appropriate chargers yourself and register them if necessary.
Is it also possible to connect an EV charger from another manufacturer?
