The Anker The smart meter communicates with the Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro/Plus via Wi-Fi and therefore must be installed in areas with an internet connection. The communication between the Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro/Plus and the Anker Smart metering operates via a LAN (Local Area Network), and during network configuration, both devices must connect to the same LAN. Otherwise, the self-consumption mode may be impaired. For example, if one device is connected to a router and the other to a mobile hotspot, the Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro/Plus and the Anker Smart meters do not communicate with each other.
Notes:
1. Place the Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro/Plus and the Anker If possible, place the smart meter no more than 10 meters from the router. Also, ensure there are as few obstacles and walls in between as possible to guarantee a strong Wi-Fi signal. Alternatively, you can add more repeaters for a stronger signal.
2. Check if the router uses 2,4 GHz communication, as the Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro/Plus and the Anker Smart meters do not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

The Anker The smart meter does not have a display to directly check the power consumption. You can instead install a "home system" in the AnkerCreate an app and check its performance on the home screen.

No that Anker The smart meter can only communicate with a single Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro/Plus device.

Currently, the Anker The SOLIX Smart Meter only works with a single Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro/Plus device, not with two or more Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro/Plus devices. If you want to use multiple Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro/Plus devices, you need a separate one for each device. Anker Install smart meters.
The Anker SOLIX Smart Meter also does not support working with other microinverters and energy storage products, including the Solarbank E1600, MI80 microinverter and other microinverters from Deye, APsystems and Hoymiles.
