Produktvorteile
-- 7 kWh storage with expansion reserve: Store your solar power for later use. If your needs grow, the capacity can be increased to up to 42 kWh with additional expansion batteries.
-- Direct PV connection up to 10 kW: Connect appropriately sized PV strings directly to the Solarbank Max. The PV input is designed for a total of up to 10 kW; the voltage and current limits remain critical.
-- Three MPPTs for your string planning: Three MPP trackers control the connected PV strings separately. This allows you to plan multiple strings within their respective voltage and current limits.
-- Separate emergency power output: According to the data sheet, 3,5 kW of active power and 3,68 kVA of continuous apparent power are available for emergency power operation. The power consumption of the intended loads must be compatible with this.
-- IP66 and corrosion protection C5-M: The housing is designed for suitable indoor and outdoor locations. Please observe the permissible temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and the manufacturer's installation instructions.
Compatibility
PV modules and strings: The three MPPTs operate in the range of 30–550 V. Each tracker is permitted a maximum input voltage of 600 V, an input current of 18 A, and a short-circuit current of 25 A. The total PV input power is up to 10 kW. Your module selection and wiring must comply with all limits.
Network connection in Germany: The datasheet specifies 4,6 kW grid-connected power for a fixed connection and 3,5 kW for a Schuko or Wieland connection. Have the appropriate connection type, circuit, and circuit protection professionally checked beforehand. These connection values are not equivalent to the battery charging and discharging power of the 7 kWh base unit, which is 3,5 kW each.
Extensions and accessories: Use only components that the manufacturer explicitly approves for the Solarbank Max. Accessory approvals for the Solarbank Max AC or other solarbank series do not automatically apply to this model.
expandability
Start with 7 kWh and expand the storage capacity to suit your needs: With one to five additional expansion batteries, total capacities of 14, 21, 28, 35, or 42 kWh are possible. The additional batteries are not included with the base unit.
Battery capacity also depends on the configuration. For a 7 kWh battery, 3,5 kW is specified for both charging and discharging. For a 14 kWh battery, these values increase to 7 kW charging and 5 kW discharging; for 21–42 kWh batteries, they increase to 10 kW charging and 5 kW discharging. The usable AC output is also subject to limitations depending on the connection type, country-specific version, and operating mode.
emergency power function
According to the datasheet, the emergency power output offers 3,5 kW active power and 3,68 kVA continuous apparent power. Short-term peaks of 7,5 kW for 10 seconds and 10 kW for 1 second are specified. These peak values are not continuous power outputs.
When selecting your appliances, consider both their continuous power consumption and potential peak loads. The connection must be made according to the manufacturer's specifications; the stated peak values do not allow for the calculation of a switchover time in the event of a power outage.

Frequently asked questions
What storage capacity is included in the offer?
You will receive a Solarbank Max with a 7 kWh storage capacity. For a total capacity of 14 to 42 kWh, you will need additional expansion batteries, which must be purchased separately. These are not included in the basic package.
What is the difference between the Max solar bank and the Max AC solar bank?
The Solarbank Max offered here has direct PV inputs with three MPPTs. The Solarbank Max AC, on the other hand, is an AC-coupled model without direct PV inputs. Select the model according to your intended system setup; technical data and accessory approvals are not interchangeable.
