The EcoFlow STREAM AC 5000 is an intelligent AC-coupled home battery for existing photovoltaic systems. With a storage capacity of 5,02 kWhWith its integrated bidirectional inverter and intelligent energy management, it enables easy retrofitting of existing PV systems – without replacing the installed solar modules or inverters. Excess solar energy is automatically stored and used precisely when household electricity demand increases. This increases self-consumption and sustainably reduces dependence on the public power grid.

Thanks to AC coupling, the solar modules and existing inverter remain fully functional. The integrated bidirectional inverter enables charging and discharging capacities of up to 3.000 W. In plug-and-play operation, feed-in occurs automatically according to regionally permitted power limits. When connected to a separate circuit, household appliances with up to 2.500 W can be supplied; in combination with an extension battery, the maximum output increases to 3.000 W. Simultaneously, the AC output supports devices with up to 3.600 W in bypass mode.

With the EcoFlow app, users always have an overview of energy generation, battery status, and electricity consumption. Intelligent Mode takes into account weather forecasts, individual consumption habits, and dynamic or time-dependent electricity tariffs, automatically creating optimal charging and discharging schedules.
