The HB-4020-X model delivers up to 800 W when connected to the grid. In island mode, up to 2.500 W is available; switching takes place in less than 0,02 seconds.

Storage, inverter, energy management, and backup output are integrated into a single device. Operating data can be monitored via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and the S-Miles Home app.

PV modules: Four MPPT inputs support a combined output of up to 4.000 W. Each input is rated for a maximum of 60 V and 32 A, with an MPPT range of 16–60 V and a start voltage of 18 V. Up to eight modules are possible only with suitable PV Y-splitter cables and within all electrical limits.

Capacity expansion: Only Hoymiles HB-4020-S expansion modules are confirmed; up to three modules increase the total capacity to 16,08 kWh.

Power connection and setup: The MS plug-and-play cable is designed for mains-connected operation up to 800 W. A permanent connection must comply with local regulations and be carried out by a qualified electrician. Despite its IP66 rating, the device must be protected from direct sunlight and prolonged precipitation.
