Marstek JUPITER-C Plus 2,56 kWh extension battery for balcony power plants

The Marstek Jupiter C Plus stores the solar energy generated by the solar panels and feeds it into the grid via an integrated micro-inverter. The maximum solar input power is 2000 W. The grid-connected output power is 800 W and can be adjusted manually or automatically according to the smart meter.

The discharge time and power output can be manually set via the Marstek Jupiter C Plus's HD touchscreen or controlled through integration with the Marstek app. Alternatively, automatic discharge mode can be selected if the Marstek Jupiter C Plus is paired with a smart meter, allowing it to discharge according to the discharge settings or the data recorded by the smart meter.

The Marstek Jupiter C Plus currently supports the Marstek Smart Meter CT002 and Shelly Pro 3EM. If a P1 meter is used, the Marstek CT003 can be combined with it for intelligent power control.

The Marstek Jupiter C Plus has a capacity of 2,56 kWh and can be connected to up to three additional batteries. The expandable capacity range is therefore between 2,56 kWh and 10,24 kWh.

The Marstek Jupiter C Plus extension battery does not support expanding the capacity of the Marstek Jupiter All-in-One C/E.

At low temperatures, the activity of the lithium battery decreases, which can lead to rapid and high energy consumption. Therefore, the following points should be observed:
(1) In winter, it is recommended to reserve at least 30% to 50% of the battery capacity to avoid low charge. Especially in snowy weather, it is recommended to maintain at least 70% of the battery capacity to ensure the battery has sufficient reserve.
(2) If the battery has not been charged for more than one week, discharging should be paused until the battery is more than 90% charged before discharging is enabled again.
(3) Avoid high-power discharging. In winter, PV power is weaker and charging is more difficult. High-power discharging may cause the battery to operate at low power for a long time.
(4) Check regularly whether the PV modules are receiving normal power. Especially after heavy snowfall, the PV modules can easily be blocked by snow, resulting in the battery being unable to charge for a long time.
