Thanks to a storage system consisting of a Zendure SolarFlow PVHub 1200 and at least a 960Wh AB1000 expansion battery or 1920Wh AB2000, the provision of solar energy from a mini PV system is no longer limited to one day. How does Zendure Solar Flow work?

During the day, the energy generated by the PV panels is sent via the PV hub to the microinverter, where it is converted into AC power to power devices in your home. Excess energy is stored intelligently in the Zendure AIO2400 stored so that it can also be used at night. This allows you to do up to 32% Save money on your annual electricity bill.

When should you choose the PVHub2000 and when should you choose the Zendure AIO2400?

If your inverter output power is higher than 1200W, we recommend you use PVhub2000 or higher. 

If the power of your inverter is higher than 1200w and throttle to 800 or 1600w, we recommend you use PVhub1200. 

If your inverter is an HMS-800 or HM-800 or HM-1200 and you want to minimize the installation steps and have an aesthetically pleasing installation, we recommend the Zendure AIO2400 series. Typically, the AIO2400 mount can be adapted to Hoymiles inverter as follows.

When do I need Zendure AIO 2400?

Solar panels often produce more electricity than a home needs at different times of the day. The excess energy is fed into the survey network. The AIO 2400 allows you to make the most of your solar panels by storing excess energy in a storage system that you can use at a later date and reduce your energy costs. The one-piece plan fits naturally and requires no drilling.

What kind of battery does the Zendure AIO 2400 use?

The AIO 2400 uses automotive-grade lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery cells. The battery has a capacity of 2400Wh and a lifespan of 8000 cycles with a remaining capacity of 70%.

How many solar modules can be connected to the Zendure AIO 2400?

Our AIO 2400 also has two MPPTs. To get the most out of it, we recommend you connect solar panels whose maximum output is slightly better than the rated input for each MPPT (MPPT1: 440W~520W; MPPT2: 880W~1040W). 

This would mean a total of around 1.320 to 1.560 W. Please keep in mind that the VOC (open circuit voltage) on each MPPT must be lower than 60V and the surge on MPPT1 and MPPT2 should not exceed 16A and 28A respectively.

If I'm new, how do I configure my Zendure Solar Flow balcony power storage system?

Step 1: You should check the local regulations, what is the maximum power allowed on the household socket, nowadays most are 600W or 800W.

Step 2: The recommendation is 1,1 to 1,3 times the MPPT power, 880W-1000W.

Step 3: Calculate your daily basic electricity consumption during the day.

Step 4: Calculate the battery capacity, except the basic consumption during the day, the rest is stored in the battery, estimate the battery capacity based on your local lighting time and intensity. e.g. Your basic consumption is 200W, the lighting time is 8 hours, MPPT can have two inputs ( 800W), then the battery you need is 2 kWh (0,8 kWh*5 - 0,2 kWh*8 = 2,4 kWh).

Can the Zendure AIO 2400 be used with AB series batteries?

No, they are not compatible with the AIO 2400.

Which solar panels fit Zendure AIO2400?

The solar modules connected to each MPPT should meet the following requirements: MPPT1: The PV voltage should be between 16V and 60V. The Voc (open circuit voltage) should be less than 60V and the Isc (short circuit current) should not exceed 16A. MPPT2: The voltage of the PV system should be between 16V and 60V. The Voc (open circuit voltage) should be lower than 60V and the Isc (short circuit current) should not exceed 28A.

How do I choose the right components for my balcony energy storage system?

First, check your local regulations to determine how much electricity a household balcony system can supply. Typically this is around 600W-800W. Then choose suitable solar modules for AIO 2400. We recommend 440W-520W for MPPT1 and 880W-1.040W for MPPT2.

How can I make the AIO 2400 automatically adjust the output power?

If you want your AIO to adjust this and that microinverter output power without asking, you can pair it with compatible smart meters and smart plugs. AIO supports Shelly Pro 3EM, Shelly 3EM, Zendure Satellite Monitor CT, Zendure Satellite Plug, and Shelly Plus Plug S.

How do I activate the self-heating function of Zendure AIO2400?

The AIO 2400's self-heating function is fully automatic. If your AIO 2400 does not turn on the self-heating function between low temperatures, please contact Zendure customer service.

Is buying Zendure AIO2400 without VAT in Germany?

Yes. According to Germany's Sales Tax Act (UStG) Section 12, you can buy AIO 2400 without VAT.

Still totally satisfied!

Has been running in Smart CT mode for about 14 days now including Shelly Pro 3 em. Works great, does exactly what it's supposed to do.
Charging limit set at 10% or 100%. I manually discharged the battery to 0% in sunny weather and then let it charge again to the bypass without removing it.

The problems that are partially communicated have not yet arisen for me.
Equipped with 3 panels each 435 WP biaxially, facing south and with a 32 degree inclination.
Thank God I haven't had to use Zendure's support yet.
It's not supposed to be that great.
I wish all future operators of the AIO that they are spared from the devil of errors and have fun with the system.

A lot of software and speed still needs to happen here with hoymile's inverter in the lower base load 0-30w is only regulating and always goes back to 0V, although there is continuous consumption,
Support Hoymiles We do not recommend connecting the inverter to DC power sources other than PV, as this can easily cause hardware failure. so you shouldn't take Hoymiles???

After analyzing your issue, our technical support team came to the following conclusions:
Shelly monitors the entire home's power supply if you choose 3 phase monitoring. Grid compensation is now required unless your household consumption is greater than the microinverter's set power.
